For thirty years, Jim, Tim, Rosie, (left to right in our picture) and Roxie--the Typewriter Dog--have been serving the typing needs of Johnstown and surrounding counties. In the early nineties, tragedy struck! Jessica Fletcher (a.k.a. Angela Lansbury) of "Murder, She Wrote" fame, turned in her trusty Royal manual typewriter for a computer. So did many since times were changing, and we knew we had to change, too!
Along with other dealers we took on different products like Samsung Cash Registers, Monroe Calculators, Ricoh Digital Copiers, Checkwriters, and office supplies. But don't worry, we didn't forget the most important thing, our roots--the TYPEWRITER! It's still our favorite product line.
When typewriter collecting became a new hobby for many, we became the premier servicer and supplier of collectable typewriters in the greater Johnstown area. From the oldest one found in Grandma's attic to the latest ones still being produced, we have the ribbon you're looking for. We also recondition and sell office size and portable machines.
